Welcome Wee Ones
This is a family outreach project of the Chippewa County Council for Youth & Families (a designated local council of the Children's Trust Fund of Michigan). The Chippewa County Council for Youth & Families (CCCFYF) invites parents to participate in the community initiative to welcome all babies that are born to families in Chippewa County.
The Welcome Wee Ones Project Facts:
- Available to all residents of Chippewa County
- Free of Charge
- Provides gifts and valuable information
- A home visit within 3 weeks of the baby's birth
- Confidential
- Voluntary

Imagination Library
Get On Board With The Imagination Library! If you have a child between birth and five years of age and live in Chippewa, Mackinac or Luce county, your child is eligible to receive free books. The EUP Intermediate School District, the EUP Interagency Coordinating Council for Early Childhood Services and Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is now available in the Eastern Upper Peninsula. Only parents can enroll a child, but anyone can sponsor a child. If you have a special child in your life and would like to give him or her the gift of books, please consider becoming an Imagination Library sponsor.
